In this episode I’m gonna talk to you guys about Days and Months in Indonesian. If you wanna read the transcripts for this episode just click the link down below. Okay, with months, I think you would be able to pronounce it relatively quick since it’s pretty the same with English only some differences in the way we pronounce it. But with the days you will need an extra effort to memorise it, because it was 100% different with English days’ name.

                Okay so let’s start with the name of the days from Monday to Sunday

Senin Monday

Selasa Tuesday

Rabu Wednesday

Kamis Thursday

Jumat Friday

Sabtu Saturday

Minggu Sunday

Again I will pronounce the Indonesian days’ name pay attention carefully please

What day is it? Sekarang hari apa?

It is Monday, Sekarang hari Senin

It is Saturday, Sekarang hari Sabtu

Now the months in Indonesian, it’s pretty similar to English but pay attention carefully to how I pronouce them.

Juli

Agustus

September

Oktober

November

Desember

 

What month is it? Sekarang bulan apa?

It is January, Sekarang bulan Januari
